In this P&P sequel, on escaping to Clarke’s library to find a book as a favour to Charlotte Lucas - Charlotte wishes a summary of the book - she encounters a young man also wanting to read the same book. Mrs Bennet sees a chance at matchmaking but Mary fights against it.
A very likeable Mary in this delightful well-written novella
