We are new to gluten free with a recently diagnosed celiac in our house. I bought this book and I am loving it. It is very simple and explains things very well. It also has so many normal dishes. My husband is happy not to have to give up eating so many foods that he loves. This is a great cookbook.

Really good looking recipes and fairly simple directions. I LOVE the break-out on the top of each which indicates the total time it will take (so I know if I will have bread tonight; or sometime tomorrow!) There are a lot of great pictures as well.
I do wish there were more recipes with options/suggestions for substitutions for milk or dairy items but the few that were included give me hope for tweaking some others as well.
ETA: Removing a star because so many of the recipes call for "Betty Crocker" specific flour mixes instead of just telling you what combo of flours to use to make the cake/cookie/etc. Instead of telling me "Use a box of Betty Crocker Yellow Cake mix" it would be MUCH more helpful to indicate WHAT that box includes so I can use the many strange assorted flours I bought instead of a very specific boxed mix I wasn't able to find in my local stores...
