Beautiful story about friendship and bond.. makes you understand why a "place I want to go" list is important in life and get you out of your comfort zone.

This is a delightful story. Thirteen-year-old Ru and Gabriel journey into the Canadian North to see the Aurora Borealis. She is "freakishly bright" and her Mom has just died. Ru and Gabriel have adventures on the way North and as is always the case, Hyde provides lovely clues via her characters as to living. Live in awe comes across strongly, as does Hyde's passion for travel and astrophotography. A good read for these times for sure.
