This was a top heavy book, where a lot of the good stuff happens before the 50% mark. Then between around 65-85% there was a lot of story. Which would naturally be the case of a man falling in-love with the mistress. The one contention I had with it is how much of a bonehead the hero ended up being about the villain. Oh, and I still don't know if I like the villain subplot regarding the hero...actually I've decided I don't like it. I can't think of how I would like it, but I don't like it like this for some reason.
Pretty standard hsitorical romance, although Warren's writing is pretty easy to read.
Definitely be buying more of this series and this author because it was so good!!!
