I liked Switched a lot but I loved Torn! It was addictive and truly so freaking hard to put down. Definitely a bit darker and you get to see Wendy really grow as a character. I had a love/hate thing going on with Finn but Loki? Yassssss! It was a fantastic second book which surprised me till the end. Must read.

I didn't think it was possible for me to love this series even more than I already did after the first book, but Torn changed that for me! Wendy is a great protagonist, a lot more likable than some of the others out right now. Amanda Hocking has done a wonderful job in creating this world, I will be sad to see the trilogy end.

Usually, sequels are worse than the first book in a series, but I am so glad I persisted with this one! It’s so wholesome and sweet and I absolutely demolished this book! It’s cute, has enough mushy stuff to be sweet but isn’t over saturated with it and the adventure and seeing Wendy grow into wanting to become the Princess her people deserve and the whole arc with the Queen it’s so cool! I now understand why the Tyrell aren’t likable in the first book but now you can care about the people as Wendy learns to care. I’m just happy with this book. Little basic on occasion and kind of predictable in the whole parentage department but Loki is an interesting character… I am very excited to read the third book.

finn is such a loser im sorry like...

I wanted more of Loki and I struggled to get interested for a long time. I also didn't like the way Wendy reacted to the deformed trolls. She was told they're literally her people but deformed at birth to look like they did (short and green slime skin I think) and she screws her face up saying ew, then next time she sees one, that same day, she pushes him over like he's nothing. Literally said, pushed him, like, they're your race! Just because they're different doesn't mean they're lesser!

I knew the big reveal about stove and I'm disappointed in Finn after this one so I lost respect for him when I once loved him. Like, oh you can't be with me, or this other guy because he's not me, but Toves okay because I know he'll never take my place.

I also hope she grows a backbone with Toves mother some more. Finns mother is bitter and I don't like her, and that chancellor is a dumbass. I hope I like the final book as much as I loved book one, but honestly, Wendy is a mopey bitch and it's like I'm only just seeing it. So probably won't happen.

Wendy sure likes that hanky-panky though. TBH, i was much more invested in WillaxMatt and RhysxRhiannon (what happened to them?) than Wendyx... everyone ho-lee sheet, gurl gets action. what is her secret?!? But honestly, that last minute romance with
SpoilerLoki
was forced, and Finn's just an asshole. Not too eager to read the last book, but my friend tells me there's this epic sexytime scene.

Amanda Hocking 'wows' me again with this book. I couldn't put it down, I even took it to work and read it when I had a little free time.

Spoiler I'm glad Wendy is now taking a bit more responsibility over her role but I do find it sad so far how she is having to marry someone she doesn't look (and could never truly love).

Cannot wait for the 3rd book now, i'm almost dying inside after reading the sneak peak first chapter!

Super original story. I love everything in it.
