An excellent entertaining read that makes you want to jump up, grab your rucksack and head for the hills. A great insight into Sam Heughan's growing up and career added to which I loved the highs and lows of the West Highland Way. Throughly enjoyed it!

I knew when I heard this was coming out that it would be an immediate pre-order for my Audible library. I knew it would be narrated by Sam Heughan as it only could be. I enjoy listening to his voice and I highly enjoyed listening to his two books of adventures with Graham McTavish. I knew this was likely to be more serious along with the lighthearted. I was right.
I especially liked how he talked about his life and upbringing by his mother with his brother. His life learning how he wanted to be an actor and in the theater. His waypoints were along the present-day trek along the West Highland Way that brought up more of his past. He is not an overnight success. He's worked hard and is very happy he's found the life he loves along with the success.
It's a well-told story of his life and I am glad it's in my library so that I can listen to it again.
I can definitely recommend this book and author.

It was fine. I still have no desire to get into Outlander though.

This was an amazing audiobook! I truly loved how he intertwined his past into his 100 mile hike in the Scottish Highlands! Definitely a great read if you are an Outlander fan!
