I thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful, funny, thoughtful memoir. I thought the construct of using his 96 mile walking journey along the West Highland Way to frame his life reflections was really clever. The middle was definitely a bit meandering and could have been edited by about 30 pages. I definitely thinking being an Outlander fan enriches your experience with this memoir, but it isn’t required knowledge to enjoy it. Overall, this was a wonderful, quiet, reflective read of one of my favorite actors.

I love Sam but this was missing something. This dragged on & felt like much longer than 7 hrs.

Highly recommend the audio. I did like his stories of growing up & the start of his career but didn’t wow me & is easily forgettable

I really enjoyed this book where Sam Heughan takes on the West Highland Way interspersed with his life story. Very readable.
