Just as my feelings were toward Ove, I started the book out with great reluctance. I continued on, with nothing to turn my pages but the intrigue of what Ove was going to do next. Before I knew it, I was well over half way through with the book and found myself laughing at and loving Ove like the rest of his family/friends! I highly recommend this book. And for those who, like me, prefer page-turners or more exciting books, stick it out, it's 100% worth it!

I love this book.
The characters in this book are just so pure that you can't help but fall in love with every single one of them, even the cat. Fredrik Backman has been able to describe his characters in a way that is super simple but super intimate at the same time. You know exactly what meaning a simple facial expression has, and all the wordless interactions between characters really made this story special.
This book was able to bring out a wide range of emotion for me, I laughed, I almost cried, I was angry for the characters and I was touched. Please read this book if you haven't already.
