Loving this series so much!

When I started this series I was like, wow 8 books is a big commitment, but then I picked up Silver Swan and the rest was a blur of blood, intrigue and steam.  Amo knows how to write a story that not only captivates you, but makes you borderline obsessed.

This book is the second part of Brantley and Saint’s story.  There are so many twists and turns you are not going to know which was is up by the time you get to the end.  I’m not going to say much about this book because there are too many ways to accidentally spoil it. But I will say that secrets do get revealed, and we do get a HEA of sorts. And for that I’m happy.

This series is dark, gritty and filled with more blood than you will know what to do with, but it’s also filled with family, bound by either blood or loyalty, and that’s what makes it so good.  Read this series, but read it in order.  I’ve added the order below! Buckle up and have fun!

  1. The Silver Swan
  2. The Broken Puppet
  3. Tacet a Mortuis
  4. Malum Part 1
  5. Malum Part 2
  6. Sancte Diaboli Part 1
  7. Sancte Diaboli Part 2
  8. Ruined Castles

This book.  Just wow. An absolute roller coaster of who is keeping secrets from whom, is anyone who they appear to be? Every chapter was a new twist, a new turn, a new secret being revealed. The character you think is good has something wicked up their sleeve, and the ones you are sure are rotten? Well they may just be the one keeping everyone safe. Saint and Brantley are the perfect match. The place where light and dark meet. He thinks he doesn’t deserve her but she was tailor made just for his brand of wicked! I loved everything about this book. There’s the highest highs and the lowest lows and I would ride this ride a million times over!

Have you ever read a book that seeped it’s way into your mind, body and soul with every word you read? That’s what sancte Diablo pt. 2 was for me.
I felt everything they went through. The good, bad, ugly and sad to the point where I didn’t know where I ended and they began. Thank you Amo for creating a world I could lose myself in time and time again. Thank you for creating characters that brought so many different emotions out of me that I felt them with my entire being.

If there’s one thing you need to do, it’s get lost in this book. Allow all the emotions to take over and enjoy the fucking rollercoaster.

This series was dark, tragic, epic, insane and amazing all at once. This series is not for the faint of heart. But I fell in love with the series and the lives of all the characters. I don’t understand all the hate in some of the comments throughout the series. This series is a masterpiece. The writing is so good, it brings you into the twisted world. The twists and turns you never guess. The series however is not for the faint of heart. There are many many dark elements that might be too much to handle for some.

I’m so sad the series is over. It’s like loosing a group of friends anytime a good series ends.

Sancte Diaboli: Part Two revealed so many secrets. With it being the seventh installment within the series, one would think we would know absolutely everything. Don't go into this book thinking that one freaking bit.

There's still plenty to be revealed to us before the lovely little ending. Which, I would necessarily call a cliffhanger, but it did put a smile on my face. Mostly because it just made all the suffering I went through worth it.

With the twists of magic, and the secret society trials, the girls definitely make the boys work for their love and affection. They don't make it easy which put a whole different kind of smile on my face. Plus, we get a reunion of Madison and Bishop. Even though things felt toxic at times, they truly are all made for one another.

Now I just have to figure out what's going to happen in the next book.
