Funny. I need to read up on some squirrel girl, second comic I've read with her in it. I know nothing about her and I am intrigued.

I don't usually enjoy comic issues with multiple stories crammed into too few pages, but… this one was kind of sweet. Deadpool was just enough himself to bring me along and I find it hard to dislike anything Squirrel Girl. Nothing terribly exciting plot-wise, but it was fun to relax into some familiar characters having holiday fun (even if it was after the holidays before I managed to read it!)

Another Marvel comic for the season and it fell flat for me, much like the X-men holiday special did. This one is largely skippable.

Nice idea on the Spider-Man (Men? Mans?) story. But the art was sketchy and nobody finished a compete sentence, which was extremely bloody annoying, and left the story feeling disjointed and ultimately unfinished.
The Doctor Doom story was better. Funny interaction between the Doom bots. Artwork was more up my street."
Huh, Hawkeye (not Clint) said it herself (which, fyi authors, having your characters acknowledge the thin nature of the plot doesn't excuse sloppy writing), this felt like the author got so far, couldn't decide where it was going (or realised they didn't have enough pages left) and just wrapped it up with the flimiest single speech bubble explanation ever. I honest felt like a whole sequence of panels was missing.
Also this is only my 2nd experience of QQ and I'm not impressed. Obnoxious prick.
As for the Deadpool bookends, well, after a promising start, that devolved into confusion and in jokes with the writer that meant nothing to me.
Really disappointing.
