Loved the setting and representation, I just don’t think I am a fan of romances written in the third person. It was cute but I felt names were way overused in dialogue - not very organic to say someone’s name 10 times while on the phone with them

This was really good! Cute and sweet but also dealing with some heavier topics. It was a treat to read a romance book with a non-binary main character, especially one written by a non-binary author! It gets a star taken off for the third act breakup though, it was such a bummer.

Premise, perfect. Steamier than I typically like but I actually appreciated the non-binary perspective in these situations. It was new to me and felt authentic. The relationships were really well done with all characters, the characters all felt authentic, and I did like the whole plot (was a little worried about what the conflict would be but it was not disappointing). The only thing I would change would be the dynamics and character interaction with the cooking show.
