Die Kombination aus interessanter, im letzten Drittel auch spannender Geschichte und Leitsätzen/ Empfehlungen der Achtsamkeit fand ich persönlich gelungen. Die Achtsamkeitsübungen wirken - eingebunden in der Story- bewusst ironisch, bei isolierter Betrachtung lässt sich da schon was für das eigene Leben mitnehmen.

It was interesting to find out that there is German bestseller by Ulrich Lindlau "Der Schattenkrieger" (1987), which is a nonfiction journalistic crime related investigation and that it to certain degree was used in this book.
As for the rest, there are certain mindfulness-related citations that make you think, some humor, at times sexist and racist, but as for the rest I am not sure this book is worth of reading, especially while there is already Netflix series.
The main character seems to be not so realistic, his growth is kind of artificial.
