an ever so charming nostalgic magical collection of fun stories from around the world! of witches and fairies and sorcerers! i loved reading this, reminded me very much of the things I loved reading as a kid, the mysterious intruiging fantastical mystical worlds and characters and settings. some were kinda creepy and all had amazing imagery of these imagined tales. great imagery and pace and magical fairytale language and rhythm! there were also some badass women heroines in here which I loved. my favourite story was definitely the sleeper! there was also lots of stories where the girl was saved and then immediately married her saviour.... which I don't love so much
i got this book from my primary schools library when they were clearing their collection and i have always wanted to read it and finally have!
