An extremely important reflection on death, the humans who interact with it most closely and trauma exposure. This was a heavy and beautiful contemplation on our relationship with death and tragedy, and how we come to terms with it in our varying degrees of human-ness.

Absolutely loved this!! I learnt so much whilst reading it as well. Richard has led such an interesting life and I'm happy I got to know all about it!

At times grisly and at others touching, this memoir of a forensic pathologist gives an insight into someone's who's job it is to take a dead body and work out how it died. I'm now boring anyone who will listen to me with factoids about corpses!
