I love how Andy weir does science and drama within science. Interesting plot that kept me on my toes. The main character annoyed me at times though by being so intelligent yet stupid at the same time.

This was a neat adventure story, but it definitely does not live up to its predecesor The Martian or its aftercomer Project Hail Mary. The world building was interesting but plagued with gaps that felt unrealistic to me, and I often found myself feeling annoyed with the main character. The cast of characters was diverse, but they often seemed to borrow too heavily from stereotypes. The main character, Jasmine, was also pretty annoying a lot of the time, and her sexual sense of humor felt awkward and like Andy Weir wasn’t sure how to handle a female protagonist. Basically, the setting was cool, plot was alright, and characters were highly annoying.
