I love how Andy weir does science and drama within science. Interesting plot that kept me on my toes. The main character annoyed me at times though by being so intelligent yet stupid at the same time.

I like Andy Weir's other stuff, but this wasn't for me. I don't like zany heists! I can't tell you why - I've just always found them boring. And while this is a zany heist on the MOON with some cool science, I couldn't get into it. I think you'd like it if you're into capers and sassy dialogue but it was all a little too silly for me.

I enjoyed this read! It was really fun and I liked the group of characters. It really held my attention! But, its very obvious that Jazz was written by a man... I appreciate the diversity, but it wasn't always very well done.

Once I got over the awe of the sciency-ness of space and world building, the repetitive reminders of moon gravity and air got old. The main character, Jazz, is also very obviously written by a man because no woman thinks or talks about herself like she does. The weird anti-union sentiments popping up every couple chapters were out of place. Only rating it as high as I am because I really did enjoy a good deal of the space talk and main character aside, there were a good handful of cool women in this story.
