If you're looking for good representation of autism or physical disabilities, you should look elsewhere. The supposedly autistic-coded protagonist displays no actual autistic traits as far as I, an autistic person, could tell, and the protagonist who uses a cane appears not to actually need it (she can walk, run, and climb just as well as anyone else). Setting all that aside, the story itself was very good, and the art was beautiful. I recommend it as a good story about friendship, speaking out against injustice, and the importance of a free press. I do not recommend it as a story about disability or disabled people.
