This is what I call a "filler" book, the kind I read when I have too much on my mind don't want to waste my energy psychoanalyzing a book (if that is even possible). Anyway, the characters are fun and it's nice to see how Bay gets on so well with her family despite the fact they are cursing and bickering in about 70% of the book. The plot is there though this is definitely not a whodunit type of book. The conclusion, like so many other books of this genre, just pop up from thin air (literally). Perhaps the WORST part of the book is the romance. I'm not a fan of love at first sight, which unfortunately is the situation in this book. Landon and Bay make a cute couple but still, I wish there were more development between the two characters and their relationship. Given this is a series, they still have plenty of time to settle into a relationship.

The part I find most heart wrenching in this book
is where Shane said he's never going home so his mother won't ever have to worry about him coming home late . This is the part that makes me want to kill the murderers. I can't imagine the pain! The worst way to lose a family member is to murder.

Bottomline: Not the type of book I'd recommend to hard core mystery fans, (they won't read cozies anyway). However, this may be an excellent choice when you need company on an early run or when you're dragging yourself through seemingly endless household chores.

Humorous series opener. A family of witches own a popular inn in a small Midwestern town. In their spare time they solve crimes.

This book was light and funny with a family dynamic that reminded me of my own. Bay Winchester is the editor of a weekly newspaper in a town know for its witchy decor. When she discovers a body in the local corn maze, she investigates with her cousins and their moms. I will definitely read more Amanda M. Lee and more of this series.

This is for me a really good book to start a series with mystery murder mayhem and the whole thing seems to have to be the main characters (Bay's) responsibility, to sort out with the help of her crazy Witchy Family that just happen to own the local inn. With a lot of laughs and hilarious funny moments, you like myself will not want to put this down. I'm going to start the next book today

There were a couple of grammatical issues that made me cringe and a descriptive issue that annoyed me ("he was mentally undressing me with his eyes" pick one, please.) so I took off 1 star. Hoping the subsequent books in the series are better edited.

”Any Witch Way You Can” is a fun read. I love quirky characters, and there’s an abundance of the in this story.
