The first half was ok, interesting to watch everyone assimilate into 13, but the second half was just a long drawn out boring account of torture and war, by the end I really couldn’t care less about the characters or the plot anymore.  Dont think I will bother with the 4th/prequel anymore.

I was totally fine reading these books, not a single tear shed, until I got to the last chapter of this book. Buttercup broke me and I sat there sobbing for at least five minutes.
I was talking to someone about these books and they asked me if they were good. Sometimes its really hard to answer that question. I wouldn’t call these books good or entertaining. They are hard to read and the story is heartbreaking. However I have read them twice now so I would definitely say that it’s riveting and hard to put down.

This is the most boring, tedious book of the saga. I feel like Suzanne Collins was like "Okay, I need to finish this. I'm just going to wing it. I'll make loads of money anyway." If you want to know the ending of Katniss and her minions, I can't believe I'm about to say this, watch the movie. It's crap as well, but it's slightly more entertaining.
