A mother’s love for her baby bunny. I adore this story.
Great for fans of “Guess How Much I Love You”

So beautiful to read aloud. Evokes this mystical timelessness and lulls little one to peaceful sleep.

This is one of those sentimental books that hits home with parents but doesn't have the same impact on the child. It would be good for cuddle time, though.

You guys. Calm down. I think this is a sweet story about how your mom will always be there. Who else remembers pushing their parents away, when deep down you really needed them close? That’s what I read in this story. Sure, run away. But I’ll be there, too.

I remember this book fondly from childhood. I am glad I’m able to read it to my children.

This story has gorgeous illustrations, and I thought the story was cute. Both of my kids enjoyed this book. The sentences weren’t too long, and it kept my littles’ attention.

This is a cute book for kids and is a must for our collection of only for nostalgia purposes.

This is an example of my inability to comment on the merits of a book without being influenced by my memories of how my own children reacted to it. We read this a million times - it's reassuring for children to know that no matter what happens, mom (or dad) will be there...in control and providing care...in imaginary situations and in real life (as affirmed by the closing sentence, "Have a carrot.")

The Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown
Audio version so I am not seeing the colorful pictures.
A little bunny wants to run away and he explains how to his mother he will keep away from her.
She explains to him what she will become and how she will find him and she will get him back.
Love the part where she will give him a hug.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).
