Not sure what this says about me that I love these dark, twisted crime novels but I do! Karin Slaughter is one of my favorites and this did not disappoint!

This book just reminded me how much I like Will and Faith and how much I dislike Sara and always have. Slaughter tells a good story which is why this gets 3 stars but I'm tired of a series that's supposed to be about Will actually being about Sara.

DNF. Maybe the will Trent series just isn’t for me , this is the second I’ve tried. Love her stand alones though.

My first Will Trent book! I really enjoyed the writing and the timeline going back and forth from one chapter to the next to have us piece together the case. The book is triggering for SA - so be warned!

Okay wow this one was really good.

Im gonna put spoilers so I can remember the plot.

So far we know of 3 women who have been found face up and thought to have tripped and fallen when really they were attacked and raped. Daryl Nesbitt was framed. I can't believe Brock was the one to do this. When it was told to us that the guy sobbed and talked about his mom in the hospital and her health, I had a feeling it was Brock. I am shocked he'd give Sara the info she wanted. It was nice to see the parallel of polce work between Grant County characters and the Will Trent characters. Lena should've never kept her job. I do enjoyed when the Grant County characters come back into play though.
