Wow...just wow. The way Karin Slaughter tied the Will Trent books back to the Grant County ones is just masterful. Enough people have said enough about the story so I won;t go there. All I can say is read this book but more importantly if you have not read all of her others go back to the beginning and start with Blindsighted. You'll thank me later. I do want to put a violence warning though. If you have problems reading about rape or violence against women Karin Slaughter is not the author for you.

3.5 stars

I enjoyed the book but it felt like it dragged on at times. The book itself I think is longer than it needs to be, but there were also a lot of long chapters and that made it a little harder for me to get into. I liked the ending, but it did feel pretty rushed to me after having so much detail and buildup through the rest of the book. This is the first Karin Slaughter book that I have read. I enjoyed the characters though so I might check out a couple more sometime.
