A very dark and disturbing instalment in the Will Trent series. I must admit to preferring the Grant County series, but I loved the way this one had flashbacks to Jeffrey - still makes me sad.
Please check triggers in this one, because boy you need to.
I found is took a while for me to get invested, and sections felt a little on the long side, but it was a tense read that kept me wanting to find out who the bad guy was.

Another strong book from Karin. Very dark but a constant page turner.

I impulsively picked up THE SILENT WIFE at Costco last week thinking a thriller would break my slump. And it was...okay. I think Karin Slaughter just writes too graphically for me, but you can always hook me when a serial killer is being hunted. Hoping some YA will be a nice relief after this one. ⁣⁣
