A very dark and disturbing instalment in the Will Trent series. I must admit to preferring the Grant County series, but I loved the way this one had flashbacks to Jeffrey - still makes me sad.

I impulsively picked up THE SILENT WIFE at Costco last week thinking a thriller would break my slump. And it was...okay. I think Karin Slaughter just writes too graphically for me, but you can always hook me when a serial killer is being hunted. Hoping some YA will be a nice relief after this one.
