This is a great idea for an anthology and I'm glad so many of the potential candidates for this year's award were able to participate. What an enormous book this would have been if all had done so! Authors whose stories I particularly liked were David Carani, Thoraiya Dyer, Sarah Frost, Damien Walters Grintalis, Grayson Bray Morris, Cory Skerry, and of course Mur Lafferty (the story Random Fire from Van Allen Hughes also stands out but I won't comment further - spoilers, sweetie!), but there's a LOT to choose from, my favourites list should really be three times that length. Lots of images from these stories have stuck in my head since reading them.
