The main character of this book (name not revealed until halfway through or so) is married to a man who has two other wives. She starts to be curious about Seth’s other wives and learns more than she expected.

This book definitely held my attention. However, nothing was shocking and I found it to be predictable, which I don’t like my thrillers to be.

The ending was also a bit rushed. We obviously get the reveal of the truth and see who is lying or telling the truth and it’s only a chapter or two of a conclusion without much contact to explain the issues that came up previously in the story.

We’re obviously meant to question the narrator’s sanity but she barely questions it herself. She’s so convinced she’s right, it’s obvious that she isn’t. It was interesting but I wouldn’t say there’s a twist.

Additionally, I was doubting the situation from the beginning because it didn’t seem to make sense, so I definitely expected the unreliable narrator.

I like this book enough to give it 3.5 stars and recommend it to others.

The end was shocking to me, but honestly I was a little dissapointed at the direction the book took, I was expecting something else.

Can we stop perpetuating the "Women are ~~~CRAZY~~~" stereotype? Not funny, not thrilling, not exciting. This book had me hooked until about halfway through, when I had to question what the main character was going through.
The whole plot makes you feel like you're crazy.

Honestly I never leave reviews but this book has me mad as f***.
The ending specifically. I was expecting the author to be gearing up to some big reveal that redeemed the protagonist but no, she’s just insane with a list of unspecified diagnoses, and every last point of intrigue was entirely made up as a result of those diagnoses. How lazy!!! Not to mention ableist, namely in perpetuating stereotypes of the mentally ill.
All in all an incredibly disappointing waste of a day and I would not recommend it.
