Interesting world love the concept and love it being set in the west end of Glasgow.
Fast paced got hooked very quickly, good as an easy read for someone that likes YA fantasy.
Classic YA fantasy, not the best book ever but lighthearted and easy to follow. Can tell it is the 1st in a series characters are not fully developed yet, more plot driven.

Some interesting characters but not developed enough. I know there are more in the series but I'm not sure I care about any of them enough to keep reading. I may check out the second in the series if I think about it later on.

That being said, if you're a plot-driven reader, you'll likely like it. I'm personally more of a character-driven reader.

It started off well like I would enjoy it but then the writing I felt just got worse as it went on. Lots was told that this was happening but not a lot was necessarily described. The romance parts and the weird sexual dream bit with one of the characters just made me feel uncomfortable and I don’t feel like it was necessary
