Thoughts: Super uncool how he hurt her - I never felt that he was truly repentant and I was hopeful that she would find some way to steel that backbone with him.

Oh so good

I can't express just how superb this story is. I love Sinclair and his conflictedness (yeah that's not even a real word but it works for me). Stella is a fabulous character. I adore the twists, the turns, the dark and the light that is in this story and I look forward to reading the rest of the series

While I anticipated this was going to go in a different way, I'm still curious to see what the next installment entails, bc of course it ends in a cliffy. And dang, Stephen and Robin doing a southern accent were on point.

I’m really kicking myself in the butt for not buying the whole series at the last book signing I attended. Sinclair and Stella both have a spine of steel. Reading about these two battling with their troubles while giving into an attraction definitely caught my attention. There are a few triggers and those who cannot handle violence should steer clear. For everyone else, get ready to drown in words.

Twisted, Dark, and Sexy

I'm not really into series these days, but I wanted to read some more by Celia Aaron. The reason this got 5 stars and because I couldn't out it down. I was like I'm just going to read a little before bed, and I finished at 2:30 A.M.

Needless to say I took my kid to school in my pj's.

I don't know what else to say, maybe because I need a nap, but if your into darker books or if you enjoyed the Debt series  This is a good read.

Wow.

Wow.

Wow.

This book was bloody fantastic. Well written, awesome characters and just a dark book that you need to sink your teeth into. I was pleasantly surprised how I loved this book so much. From the characters to the dialogue, I was so hooked. It was compelling and addictive. I wanted more. I kept my review brief because I am so desperate to get to the second book.
