I liked it, and thought it was well written in the alternating perspectives of the mom and daughter on this elite college tour of the east coast fancy schools. A fun peek into a different world. The one part that read as a little unrealistic was Emily, the daughter, immediately acknowledging (to herself only, in her POV) that she was unfair to her mom during their arguments, repeatedly. I don't know many teens that quick to blame themselves for an argument that just ended.

Overall a fun read.

I could not find a caring bone in my body for any of these characters. Someone I listened to had likened this to Gilmore Girls, but this is like the one season of GG where Lorelai and Rory are fighting the whole time.
