Oh. My. God. The build up in this book makes it worth it’s medium pace. And thank got Kaltain was used for more than a romance.

Though I still adore the characters and the world, this was the most boring Throne of Glass book for me. It felt like a lot of waiting for something to happen and when big events did finally take place, they seemed to be over really quickly.

I felt like this book started out strong and then had a 100 or so page lull in the middle before picking up again. Once it started going at the end it really went. It was very fast-paced and interesting. Really good.

This books was amazing. All I wanted to do for the past few days is read. For hours on end.

For starters, it was super fast past and kept me super engaged. The plot was great, the only criticism I have is that the first 100 or so pages were a tad boring <sort of spoiler> things got infinitely better when Rowan came back in.

This was hands down the best book I’m the Throne of Glass Series so far. I will 100% be continuing on this book was absolutely amazing. I would highly suggest it!

So many twists and turns! Even on a second reading, I  was still catching new plot twists.

This was a reread for me, but I think this is my favorite book in the series. Everything starts falling in place just in time for the doozy of the tandem read (which I highly recommend if this is your first read through)
This book makes me really hate Chaol

Keep in mind that this is a problematic author and I’m reading this from a library outlet so I’m not profiting SJM-One of my favorites in the series. It showed different sides of characters and I absolutely loved the interactions and romance subplots.
