A wonderful exploration of trees, and how they are so much more complicated and sentient then popular culture gives them credit for. Highly readable to individuals who may not know much about trees or nature, I feel confident in recommending this book to everyone.

It’s very interesting but a bit repetitive and dry. I was intrigued at times but not compelled to finish

I would have given this book 2.75 based on content. But this book about trees is printed on the thickest paper with the biggest margins I’ve ever seen and it drove me nuts. What a waste of paper for a book discussing tree conservation.

It has been said to me by a few (all) friends that I am a sensitive person! So, it was no shock to me really when this book made me quite sad. While I found it incredibly interesting and insightful, I will never be able to look at the trees that are surrounded by concrete the same again.
The narrators voice was a perfect fit for the way the author wrote this book.
