the truth of the matter is that i’m a sucker for a pregnancy trope. and a conflict trope. like frankly i’m the problem here but i do recognize this book is bad.

Larissa said this was a mess in the best way and tell me why that is the most fitting sentence ever.

Like I remember loving bound by honor when I read it so long ago and it was my first mafia romance so I might be biased but this just gave so much more.

Aria & Luca are back in action! Loved this so much. Felt a little redundant at some points because it retells Gianna & Lily’s stories so if you’ve read their books, there’s a recap from Aria’s perspective. I loved that it was dual POV too

Angsty, Brutal, and pure Alpha

“I’ll go wherever you go no matter how dark the path.” “Even in the darkest hour, you are my light.”

This was the best book I’ve read of Cora Reilly’s so far. I haven’t read them all... but 5 books in (and no I didn’t go in order) , I really loved this one.
Luca is the most possessive alpha I’ve read about in a long time. I absolutely love him and Aria together.
Aria with her pure soul wanting to keep her brother and sisters together and happy. Luca proving himself as Capo and trying to keep Aria safe.

They are the angel and the demon. Total opposites. Light and dark.
This had all the action, hot sex, mafia war and brutality that we all love.

I have liked the other books in the series better,  but this was still really good. I don’t think it needed to be as long as it did because we’d already seen a lot of the events in previous books. The whole conflict in the middle was a bit frustrating, but it was still an enjoyable read.
