was gonna be a 5/5 but i’m just so pissed at how easily luca was seduced by grace and even thought about getting with her even tho he knew in the back of his mind that aria didn’t even cheat. and in front of aria too after knowing how much grace affects aria, which was alluded to at the party in the beginning of the book. and i also dislike how quick aria forgave him for not only the grace thing but also for saying that he “loved” her and when he said he didn’t love her anymore. like girl idk about u but id be questioning so much if he’d even love me after i forgave him after he said that. anyways was a good book, i just really didn’t like those two points and that’s what kept it from 5/5

The sixth book in this mafia-romance series takes us back to the beginning by following our original pairing, Aria and Luca. I'll always have a soft spot for these two over some of the other couple because they were the first. Unlike that first book, the perspective is split between the two of them which I love, and it was great to see how they've grown over the previous books. When it comes to the plot and pacing things begin to get a little messy. Half of the book is snapshots of how they experienced various events of other books, which was interesting but as it wasn't new you had to be invested in the characters over the plot. This part also jumped around a lot. You'd get a couple of chapters from the events of Bound by Hatred and the skip to events from Bound by Temptation, which did not feel cohesive. However, it does catch you up on the series if you skipped a book or if it's been a while. The second half was a lot stronger as it had a plotline all of its own. I read the second half in a single sitting because it was that compelling. Overall, this book was a bit of a mixed bag but if you enjoy Luca and Aria then this is a great chance to spend more time with them.

4.6 out of 5 stars. one thing about me, if it’s a cora reilly book just know ima read it!

The book was a combination of things that happened since their initial book, from luca and aria’s pov. i think matteo has two chapters towards the middle. towards the end of the book is where we get new material.

i speak for everybody when i say aria is DUMB. not only is she dumb, but she’s super naive. in every decision she made she allowed her heart to overrule her brain. i understand her belong gianna. if it was my sister i would have done the same.

but when she saw lily and romero together she should have immediately told luca. luca would have put an end to it and that probably would have stopped the whole lily and romero fiasco. there would have been no war and she could have been an active god parent to anna, AND she wouldn’t have lost a friend in val.

AND NOT TO MENTION, she wouldn’t have had to spend the beginning of her pregnancy in hell. her first trimester was terrible.

Basically an extended epilogue for the couple from the first book. I really enjoyed it but I'm a sucker for an epilogue
