I can't say enough about how awesome these books are. They aren't first rate quality, but they are enjoyable as hell to read, especially if you're a D&D fan.
It unfortunately has been far too long for me to give more of a review other than, I enjoyed this novel.
My ratings and reviews of the Drizzt novels are colored by the fact I read them in middle school so keep that in mind. A young boy will find an immense amount of things to like in Salvatore's saga of Drizzt.

Another great chapter in the saga that is The Legend of Drizzt.
The ghosts of Drizzt's past life have come back to haunt him and I couldn't be more excited or scared to read what comes next.
A great start to a new series of tales, Salvatore's description of fights and battles is something to behold. The complexity of his characters and motivations continues to grow.

I really really don't care much for battle description and this book felt like a huge long battle :(
