Review 
This book really lacked lustre for me, I was expecting so much from it, but was left feeling disappointed. The writing seemed all over the place, which I understand is probably supposed to help represent the main character, but I just felt this novella was very messy. I was hoping for Auton vibes, like one of the creepiest monsters from Doctor Who, but that wasn't the case. I didn't engage with any of the characters or the storyline, and it didn't have the suspense I was hoping for. A couple of the descriptions were gory and made me feel gross, and I appreciate the idea of the plot, but unfortunately, this book wasn't for me.
