1. This is not a love triangle, despite how the synopsis sounds
2. I figured out the big reveal like 4o pages in
3. I kinda love Keaton Cash

KEATON F*CKING INSATIABLE CASH!!!!!!

Whoa whoa whoa whoa!! That ending catapulted this from a 4 star to a 5 star book. I loved this so so much during the entire journey but it wasn't a favorite until the Keaton POV at the end. I did not anticipate that ending and it blew me away.

The character development and story telling was outstanding. I adored Henny and Keaton separately and together. I was so nervous this was going to turn into a love triangle. It was clear they belonged together very early on and I didn't want triangle angst.

Keaton's alpha male posturing really made this book the best. I love the jealous/possessive men trope.

I actually cried at the end of this book....
Spoiler It is rare for me to cry during a book and a read so so so many books with violence and death and walk away unphased. But Henley's losing Bourbon in this book BROKE ME!! I was destroyed while sitting at my desk at work.

I just cannot say enough good things about this book. I LOVED it!

DNF, no rating for now. Just too mope-y for me at the moment. I might come back to it later if I find the right headspace.

I have never wanted to live on a farm and raise horses and cows more than I do now. I mean as long as there’s a Keaton next door! I loved this book so much. Henley is super feisty which is a little tiring in the beginning but she tempers herself shortly into the book. Keaton has me swooning over cowboys and wishing my husband had been pining over me for years before we met! Overall 5/5
