wow cannot wait to read the rest of this series! i was a little skeptical but i think this will be a masterpiece series since this it started slow and i wasn't sure how everything would tie together. But wow it turned out awesome and it was so cool to see the overlap with the Deamonica series couples.. Can't wait for more.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I absolutely loved this one. Every time I open a book in this series, I know that I am going to be greeted with an amazing story, and this one didn't disappoint. I loved Ares and Cara's story. It was hot and sweet.

This is the first book in a new series by Larissa Ione. Set in the same world as the Daemonica series, this new spinoff focuses on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I really enjoyed this book. Had the easy flow and style that Larissa usually has. Since it's the first in a series, there was a bit of back tracking going on explaining the world and some of the demon characters that fans of Larissa already know. That's understandable though.

I liked Cara and Ares. He's kind of a hard ass but she gets under his skin. She also has some cool powers of her own. They had good chemistry and the love scenes were hot. It was cool to learn about the other Horsemen as well. Love that one of them is a woman. I wish the next book was out already. All in all a great start to a new series. Can't wait to read the next one!

I intentionally looked for the cover that didn't look like I lost my head in "Romancelandia", though this book does contain a fair amount of just that. It is also a book about the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse and what it's like being one.

There are some good twists, the characters have history and interest, though at times I felt amiss. This book is the 1st in it's storyline, but the 6th in this universe and some things are definitely left out, or rather implied, since the reader is most likely already familiar with this world. It got a bit disorienting for a newcomer.

It left me questioning some things about 5000 year old beings and why it is so hard to write a passionate and caring being without falling on tired troupes like "Do you have a boyfriend?" REALLY!!! You're 5000 years old and that's your question to the dying savior of the world from Apocalypse? Why not go with "What's your favorite color?"

This is why I normally steer clear of Romancelandia, it is just too cheesy and I have high cholesterol. But I liked this world and 75% of this book so chances are I will read on and moan about the cheese along the way.

That was a great read!

did not feel like I was missing anything by starting the serie in the middle of it.
I only have interests for the Horsemen (since Supernatural own Horsemen). I like stories with the underworld, fallen Angels, Gods etc.

the story is fast paced. their is a lot going on. One Horseman is already on the loose causing havoc in the world. If they lose an other Horseman then it is the End. and they don't have much leverage.

And there is the love story. At first it is nice but then it's is taking too long to be resolved. At some point, I really believed she would be killed (too many Korean Drama will make you think it is a plausible option in western romance). but no and then it's a let me die, no I die but no you must let me but no how will I live without you, please let me die development.... at the last minute, they stumble on a solution and yippie HEA to them!

Now I really want to read the #2 but I read there is something happening inthe book that triggers #3 that is not OK for many readers. I wonder if I read book #2 and decide for myself or just take at face value and shelve this serie and author. I have so many other book to read anyway...
don't know mate, don't know...

EDIT 04112018
-> I will not continue with this serie (too many books to read too little time)

The four horsemen of the Apocalypse, Ares(war), Limos(Famine, Thanatos(death) and Reseph(Pestilence), all held in abeyance until their seals break bringing about the Apocalypse. Reseph's seal has broken and he is now Pestilence, spreading plague and death over the world. His only other goal is too break Ares seal and bring about War.
Cara our human sacrificial lamb is caught in the middle of all of this, Ares seal is protected by Unfallen Angels, but Pestilence is killing them off and as a last ditch effort to protect it the Angel puts it in Cara, humans aren't meant to bear it though and she has about a week to live, unless they can find someone to take it from her.
The relationship is pretty cute in this one and the fact that she bonds with a hell hound pup in entertaining. I wasn't sure I was going to continue reading into the entire Demonica series but this one hooked me and now I need to :)

Eternal Rider is Larissa Ione's first book for Lords of Deliverance and sixth one for Demonica book series. The main characters are Cara, Ares and his two brothers and one sister. It also had a lot of hellhounds and those hunters (I don't remember what they were called xdd).

Eternal Rider is about one of the horsemen (War). His name is Ares and a human girl, Cara. Ares' brother turned evil and the whole book
Spoiler Pestilence was doing everything evil like giving people he used to protect diseases and wanted to torn his siblings (the horsemen) evil.

Pros about the book is that I really enjoyed reading about the horsemen. It was interesting to see how much Pestilence changed when he lost his seal. I think 'the nicest' sibling lost it, so we could see how much it would change a horseman.

Cons about it is the hunters. I think it was pretty boring to read at sometimes. Like they got their own chapters and they didn't even really do anything important. Thankfully there weren't much of them.

Overall I liked the book.

Pretty good book. The pace really picked up near th end and I couldn't put it down until I knew what was going to happen. It was a fairly good read but I feel like there was something missing. I think maybe the plot was too simple and needed a little something to shake it up. The other books in the series have a little more meat on them compared to this one.

This started off really confusing as there were terms that were very new so I would’ve really appreciated a glossary of terms in the beginning of the book. Otherwise, it was an okay book with mediocre plot and characters.
