Read it years ago and remembered it very fondly. Julian is a wonderful protagonist and the mystery was so intriguing that I couldn't stop reading until he had it all figured out. Read it in one go and it is still as emotional and exciting as I remember. The friendship between him and Dipper and him and Dr. McGregor is just beautiful.
I will be forever sad about Kate Ross untimely death.
