It was odd. Not a cohesive story. Just like random paragraph musings. Too religious.

As I'm sure many know by now that she is a religious woman, but practices her faith in the way that more people should. Acceptance, forgiveness, and joy - not hatred, anger, and greed.
Even though the religion portions weren't my cup of tea, I did enjoy the meditation parts of her book as she talked about things that have happened since her first book, including meeting her biological mother. A much shorter book than the first but still a good read.

Type of read: Commuter Read.
What made me pick it up: I love Kristin Chenoweth and I was looking for a good palette cleanser between some heavier reading.
Overall rating: Chenoweth brings her signature pizazz and spark to 'I'm no Philospher...' and I thoroughly enjoy that. It very much reminded me of Matthew McConaughey's book when I enjoyed that as an audiobook - you really get the vibe and emotion from the author through their tone, inflection, and speaking cadence. Is 'I'm no Philospher...' a rambling stream of consciousness mixed with fluff, singing, and stories from Chenoweth's experience as a human on this earth? 100% yes. Did I expect anything less? Absolutely not. It's not for everyone, but it was a good, quick little read.

She's so much more than silly. People need to know more about her.
