I borrowed this from the available now biographies section but it was more her thoughts on life with some autobiographical tidbits on how certain big events affected her life and outlook (a horrific on-set accident, COVID, the loss of a dead friend, even finding and knowing her birth mom). As someone who is not a Christian and not religious but of course is surrounded by it in my daily life being an American, I was a little worried at the intro that it might come off too religious or too “preach”y but it was a really nice balance between what her spirituality and what she took from the Christian Bible and the church gave to her and informs her outlook on life — just as much as knowing so many different people and learning how varied humans are.
This is a short listen, I think roughly three hours, and nicely uplifting and positive.

I love Kristin Chenoweth, but this just wasn't the book for an agnostic like me. I was hoping it was going to feature more general life advice, bolstered by stories from Kristin's life and career, but it had a much more religious bent than I anticipated.
