An exciting end to the trilogy. The plot was exciting with things going wrong, more villains making themselves known and then ultimately a HEA.

This book is so disappointing compared to the first two.
I just hate the memory loss trope so much. I felt like it took way too long for Jack to come back into the story, and then Evangeline regaining her memories after reading her letter to herself felt anticlimactic. I just feel like there should have been more emphasis on the elixir Jacks gave her and that being what brought her memories back cuz hello! it's a fairytale. Everything is caused by magic!
Apollo made a good villain but wth happened to Marisol or Luc??? They were just gone in this book and then all of a sudden Aurora and the other Valors get introduced. It just felt so detached from the other books.
I do like the ending, though. The tree of souls taking Apollo cuz he loves himself more than anyone was a great way to watch him go.
I still love Evangeline and Jacks and I would've liked an epilogue of their happily ever after sometime in the future.
Finally done with this reread so now I can read new stuff!
