Apollo died because he loved himself the mostthis book was a little overwhelming tbh.
i don’t like that evangeline lost her memories and i HATE that we got so much of apollos pov instead of jacks yearning more.
with that being said, i can’t rate the book any lower because of what happened and the end. the perfect ending, jacks and evangeline got their happy ever after.
i wish we got more of the valors, would love a backstory on them.

It was hard to get through, took me about three months reading it because I wasn't super invested. Partly my fault because I didn't love the first to either but I wanted to see how it ends. I couldn't feel the connection and tension between the characters and just like the first two books I found Evangeline a bit stupid. I think I would've liked it more when I was a bit younger. But I liked the world, and that it wasn't dark fantasy but more flowery and pink if that makes sense
