After everything Mia went through in the first book and the beginning of this book... She finally gets a happy ending.

Walbert's classic poetic prose enchants yet again. If you are new to this writer, I suggest you begin with Gardens of Kyoto or a Modern History of Women. Based on the reviews and my experience her writing style may not be favorable to all, but the aforementioned novels are a better introduction and may help you appreciate Where She Went a little better.

This was the worst book ever. I think it was too mature because it made no sense. It was just a bunch of random words that shouldn’t go together. Would not recommend it.
