Really one of the best in the series. Hard to put down. Makes a "what-if" scenario seem very believable and possible.
fast-paced

First in the series in which Nate Romanowski is front and center, and what a wild ride! Thoroughly enjoyed this, as well as the other 11 before it.

While Joe is never very far away from the story, this book has Nate front and center. In the last book, there is knowledge that someone or ones are trying to eliminate him and what he knows. This book focusses on his past and why he lives the way he does. Another good read that kept me up too late.

CJ Box does not dissapoint, another Joe Pickett gooder.

This guy needs to write another book, and fast!
