A mostly fun quick read that starts off well but gets less satisfying as it progresses. Read most of it standing in the queue for Versailles!

Interesting, pretty well written and a quick read. Just not my thing and too many questions after. Read it because the rest of my office wanted me to.

hey um- what

It’s great! But I wish it was longer, way more fleshed out. Every one of these characters is a delight to hang around. I just wanna go terrorize the suburbs and rip out and eat people’s throats with my mom

i really liked the quirky mundane aspects of this purportedly horror novel. it wasn't really horrory at all. and some of the less normal things (eg: ghosts, and, well mainly just the ghosts) didn't seem to be all that organic to the plot.

A wonderfully horrifying story.

This is...a book. As a fan of "A Softer World" and after having read "Overqualified", I was curious and even excited to see what this book had in store. I was delighted; it isn't long (I read it in about two hours) or terribly intricate, but its interesting tone and the attitude of the characters in the story is a curious amalgam of horror, humor, and even satire. It's like a "Goosebumps" story for adults. Great stuff!

Sweet little horror novel. Could have been gimmicky, but it was not.
