This book really surprised me. I like historical fiction, but usually they are pretty lengthy and I tend to not finish them because of that. But this one definitely wasn’t.
If I‘m 100% honest, I only read this because of the TV show. I was pretty obsessed with Ross and Demelzas story. And if you store your feminism away and are can get over the problematic age gap (by todays standards I guess), you’re good to go.
