Kate Atkinson

3.46 AVERAGE

This was the most insufferably boring book I have ever read, and I love spy novels! Do not recommend.

Gets knocked down a star for the last few chapters, which were a weird mix of deus ex machina and unreliable narrator.

Kate Atkinson never fails to surprise me. Her writing subjects are so varied. Following a woman’s experience with MI5 was very entertaining and informative. Waiting for her next book.

I just love Atkinson's writing. Another winner.

I liked this! But I think my expectations were too high based on how I have absolutely loved all previous Atkinson books

Really entertaining! I enjoyed the World War II and post-war setting and her writing is sharp and witty.
