I love this volume specifically for introducing Oikawa Tooru, a non-Karasuno character who embodies the "from the concrete" motto, with one of the best exploration in character journeys throughout the manga. Also, it's hilarious how he's now considered a top-tier "villain" in the Shonen genre when he's not.

Finally continuing on! Getting manga from the library can sometimes be a lesson in patience, but volume 2 is just as fun as 1. We get to see the set up of the rivalry with Aoba Jousai and Oikawa, (even though I like Nekoma more), and get teased with the introductions of Ukai and Nishinoya. On to volume 3!

It's Haikyuu, 5 stars. Also Tanaka and Sugawara really shined through in this volume. They're such fun and such good senpais.
