I absolutely love the Coleman brothers! After hearing about him in Tanner’s book I was hoping to find out his story and I’m so glad we got it. Lola being the family protector and never wanting to burden anyone is the epitome of oldest daughter syndrome and was explained really well throughout the book. I loved seeing her character development and how Ben brought out the best in her. Definitely a new favorite.

I didn’t love this book. I wanted to but didn’t. I enjoyed the protectiveness of the MMC but the conflict felt forced. The female lead became annoying and the arguments were repetitive. The steamy scenes were good but don’t redeem the book.

this would have been a 3 star but she had to go and call him "daddy"🤢 with her daddy issues that is brought up multiple times throughout the book, it just made me want to hurl everytime I saw it. Also I felt that there was a lot of telling and not much showing in this story which is a little tiring, and the reason they "hate" each other is so trivial in the beginning and almost completely forgotten about not even 100 pages into the story. This just wasn't my favorite.

could have been better…
I really wanted to love these guys, Im all on board with flawed characters but they didn’t have the redeeming qualities to go along with it. The steamy scenes were good but I could have done without her calling him daddy though!
