I absolutely LOVED this book. Watching Maddie work through life and figure out her own way (while realizing i relate to her sooo much) was so comforting. I became extremely attached to her like she was my best friend, and I truly wish that I could erase this book from my mind just so I can read it for the first time again, because this will definitely be on my mind for awhile. I recommend this for ANYBODY, but especially women, in their 20s trying to figure out the world they live in

This reminded me a lot of the tv series Fleabag! Dark and witty humor, multilayered FMC, struggles with grief and complex relationships. It’s a beautiful story following Maddie on her journey of self-discovery as the main caretaker of her dad who has Parkinson’s. Her real-life struggles are raw and powerfully portrayed by the author. It’s deep and a bit heavy, but a solid read I’m glad to have read.
