This is the first book i have read by Heather Graham, and im pretty impressed. Good story line, the ghost angle and the supposed suicide was good. I liked the twist at the end. Gotta love Mama Matisse...she was awesome. Very intrigued with these six people and how well they work together.

Phantom Evil would have rated 5 ⭐ but the narrator, in my opinion, did not reach that level of performance. The women's voices were very similar in pitch. Angela, the main female character, was be hard for me to distinguish from the others.

The story was great fun. A mystery with paranormal aspects and a loving toast to the fine city of New Orleans. The ending was complex rational. I did not have it figured out.

I started this series after seeing an add for a future book Hexed. The characters in this book are very well thought out. Jackson with his loss, Angela with her loss obviously connect more then the rest of the team members. This book basically focuses on Angela and some of Jackson. The other team members are there but I would've liked a little more information on them. The team is brought together because of their paranormal abilities to solve a crime that happened.

I like the paranormal aspect of this book but was unable to really connect to the characters. I may read further in the series due to the fact that a relative seems really into it.
